This pattern is in English.
The top is a simple but well-thought-out design with several elegant details, that help provide the perfect fit and expression. It is ideal in both professional and relaxed settings and can be styled for wearability through the whole year. It has been assessed as a difficulty of 3/6. The pointelle motive of the top is supposed to reflect nature as a source of inspiration, and is specifically inspired by Cardamine amara, a species native to Denmark.
Construction
The top is knitted top-down. First the straps are knitted then front-and back pieces, worked flat with German Short rows and increases. The body is connected under the arms and knitted in the round. Different modifications of the body shaping and edging - either a raw-, 1-by-1 ribbed-, or ruffle edge - are included in the pattern. The top is completed with double-knitted finishes at the armholes and neckline using short rows to shape the neck edge for the perfect look.
Size Guide
The top is supposed to have neutral to slightly negative ease. The blue top is knitted in Lana Cotton 212 (#4220) from Hjertegarn in size M with no body shaping and 1-by-1 ribbed edge. The green top is knitted in Cotton Wool 3 (#835) from Gepard Garn, with many body decreases (~17.5 cm) and ruffle edge. The model is 158 cm tall with a bust circumference of 94 cm and a waist circumference of 73 cm.
